Phulbani,Aug25(Sunil Pattnaik):Four siblings from Tandipanka village under Jiridikia Panchayat of K-Nuagaon Block in Kandhamal district have appealed to District Collector Veda Bhushan seeking government support.According to reports, their father, Bishikeshan Behera, died in a road accident nearly eight years ago. Following his death, their mother earned a livelihood through daily wage labor to feed the children. However, on August 19, she tragically drowned after slipping into the water while taking a bath. With both parents gone, the four siblings are now left entirely orphaned and uncertain about their survival, daily meals, and education. Among the four children—two daughters and two sons—the elder daughter is unmarried, while the younger daughter has completed her studies. The two boys are minors, aged 12 and 11.Deeply worried about her younger brothers’ education, their sister, Asha Devi Behera, expressed hope that the district administration would take responsibility for their schooling and overall welfare to help ease their plight.
